ILT Instructor, 6 months+ at Salem and Hope Creek Nuclear Stations.
Must have experience on a Westinghouse 2, 3, or 4 loop OR a CE PWR plant. Classroom instruction on day shift, simulator training on back shift, 6pm -2am. $85/hr plus $26.50/hr per diem (compensation higher if local and no PD required).
Responsibilities:- Coordinating, implementing, and managing all aspects of the Licensed Operations Training Program
- Serve as simulator instructor in the assigned area of the Operations Training Departments including instruction of trainees and maintenance of records.
- Gather pertinent information necessary for the development/revision of new and existing training materials.
- Develop, review and revise training procedure program descriptions included in the training program.
- Work with Training Supervisor to define training needs and evaluate their effectiveness. Lead/evaluate simulator scenarios. Provide instructor Continuing Training to peers. Interface with Simulator support personnel regarding Simulator performance and fidelity issues.
- Monitor, track, and report on student performance to operations management.
- Maintain and apply working knowledge of the companies Standards for Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls.
- SRO instructor certification is required.
- 3+ years' experience as an ILT Instructor at a Westinghouse 2, 3, or 4 loop OR a CE PWR plant.
- Capable of being qualified as a Simulator Instructor.
- Knowledge and application of Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
- Must meet and maintain companies’ nuclear requirements for unescorted site access.
