Puro Gusto is the modern approach to the Italian food culture and welcomes our guests from their morning roast to their afternoon toast. We are now hiring Baristas! Both full and part time positions available!
Barista Responsibilities:- Be committed to customers
- Create a warm and welcoming environment by taking initiative to greet and thank customers
- Prioritize customers over tasks by reading cues and finding ways to surprise and delight guests
- Smile, offer friendly greetings, learn customers names and orders, and assume the best in others
- Actively engage with customers at all touchpoints in the store
- Be focused on quality
- Proudly develops expertise in craft of cooking food and preparing high quality handcrafted beverages
- Crafts beverages to recipe
- Crafts food items to order and put out in a timely manner
- Take orders and deliver food to guests
- Continually open to learning and developing their craft
- Completes station responsibilities and keeps station clean, stocked, and organized
- Be dedicated to each other and work effectively with a team
- Contributes to the success of the team and supports others to do their best work
- Regularly seeks feedback on ways to improve
- Seeks opportunities to appreciate and recognize fellow partners
- Communicates important information to the manager and team in a timely manner
- Helps create an environment of warmth and belonging where everyone is welcome

Experience:- 1-3 years of food and beverage customer service facing experience
- Comprehensive understanding of point of sale systems, coffee equipment, and food preparation
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Requires the ability to lift and or move up to 40lbs
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Effective oral and interpersonal skills
