Riverside Management and Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Specialist at a newer 55+ residential community in Lincoln, CA.  The ideal candidate will be a Maintenance Specialist with at least 5 years of facility maintenance to maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment.  If you take pride in workmanship and maintaining a clean and safe environment, we’d love to hear from you!

 
Essential Duties include (but are not limited to):     
 
  • Manages janitorial staff and/or vendors
  • Attends scheduled monthly/weekly common area landscape inspections with Association Landscape Maintenance vendor
  • Inspects, evaluates, and monitors, facility including the interior of the building and the exterior of the property, equipment, and surrounding grounds for deficiencies, potential safety, health, or code problems, and necessary repairs needed and coordinate with licensed trades to resolve issues in real-time
  • Plans, schedules, prioritizes, oversees, and performs maintenance, repairs, and renovation of the amenity building
  • Identifies and evaluates electrical/plumbing issues and coordinates repairs with licensed trade
  • Processes and executes work orders; oversees renovations, repairs, and maintenance of Association machinery
  • Performs routine and unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed including replacing light bulbs and cleaning windows, maintaining grounds, parking lots, and other areas
  • Interacts with Resort Staff and community members in a pleasant manner
  • Develops and maintains maintenance logs and reports, ensuring leadership is always informed
  • Identifies short-term and long-term equipment and facility needs and plans accordingly
  • Ensures that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner
  • Ensures that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned
 
The ideal candidate will possess these qualifications:
 
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years building maintenance, facilities manager, or relevant experience required
  • Availability to work weekend shifts
  • Physical stamina to perform required maintenance and repairs in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  • Knowledge of basic budgeting as well as administrative experience in evaluating estimates and processing work orders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, analytical/critical thinking skills
