Fishman, Larsen & Callister, a business law firm in Fresno, California, is seeking an employment law associate with 0-3 years of experience to participate in management-side employment compliance issues and to assist with employment litigation cases. Applicants should possess excellent academic credentials. The successful candidate will assist with:- Wage and hour audits;
- Workplace investigations;
- Development of workplace policies and practices;
- Training programs for employers;
- Defending administrative complaints before the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Labor Commissioner, and Cal/OSHA.
The work is sophisticated, complex, and rewarding. Associates interact directly with clients to develop and implement successful strategies to comply with employment laws and regulations and avoid litigation.
