Position Description
The IT Support Specialist installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical advice and support to system users. Must have technical capacity, thoroughness, excellent documentation, time management, and communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Installs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user’s premises
  • Utilizes Microsoft InTune MDM to enroll systems and deploy endpoints configuration profiles
  • Administration of ManageEngine Desktop Central endpoint management system
  • Provides on-boarding services to new users
  • Provides telephone, in-person and online support to end-users
  • Provides updates, status, and completion information to manager and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail, or in-person communication
  • Escalates major problems to appropriate support teams external/internal
  • Monitors escalated problems to resolution
  • Audio/Visual setup, support, and troubleshooting
  • Oversee daily execution of help desk activities and tools for the organization

Education/Experience
This position requires at least an Associate Degree in Networking, Cyber-Security, or IT Administration and two to five years of direct experience in a corporate Information Technology environment
  • Fundamental understanding of Microsoft Azure Active Directory administration
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft InTune MDM preferred (Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification desired)
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on administration experience with M365 Exchange, SharePoint, Teams
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows 10 required
  • Audio/Visual setup, support, and troubleshooting (basic experience required)
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification is required
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification is required
  • Experience with Enterprise Help Desk ticketing system as a Service Provider

Security Clearance Requirements
This position requires obtaining and maintaining a SECRET security clearance

Travel Requirements
Travel is anticipated to be less than 5% within the Continental United States

Compensation
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
