The Personal Assistant and Professional Caregiver will work within our Senior Living Apartment division on property assets ranging in size from 200-250 units in the Dallas – Fort Worth, Texas area and reports to the Personal Assistance Services Manager. The schedule may vary but weekends will be required. Pay range from $17 to $21 per hour depending upon experience.

Saturdays to Wednesdays  1-7pm  FULL TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS AND PAID TIME OFF!!

We are looking for a competent Personal Assistant and Professional Caregiver for our busy senior community. The successful candidate will encompass the following skills:

SUMMARY: The employee provides exceptional service to residents in a timely, courteous, efficient and accurate manner with a sincerely pleasant and professional demeanor. He or she performs a variety of duties related to companionship, including greeting residents, spending quality time with residents, friendly reminders, cleaning personal areas, and keeping track of activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents

· Spends time with residents

· Greets all residents in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner

· Provides feedback from residents to manager regarding personal situations

· Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices

· Performs other related duties as assigned by management

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· This job has no supervisory responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·Experience in senior communities preferred

· Other skills required:

o Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision

o Detail oriented

o Able to work in a team environment and take direction

Experience:

  • Senior Community: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
