Job Summary: Provide operational and consultative support conducting business operations analysis. In this role the candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with various departments.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage moderately complex analyses based on operational, economic and/or financial data to measure the performance of operations.
- Evaluate potential operational changes and/or provide insights for new methodologies.
- Collaborate with development staff and Subject Matter Experts to establish appropriate technical solutions for business need.
- Foster an environment in which continuous improvement methodologies are applied to deliver value to customers.
- Develop system requirements, coordinate development to meet business requirements, research problems, and plan solutions.
- Identity solutions to business problems, and specify requirements with enough detail to ensure a successful implementation.
- Serve as liaison between the business and software development teams.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience with homeowner’s Property and Casualty Policy and Billing necessary.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies- Solid knowledge of business operations, procedures, and priorities with a strong ability to support change and impart value within an organization.
- Advanced level knowledge of data sources, tools, applications, and business drivers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Effective research, problem solving, analytical, critical thinking, influencing, and relationship management skills necessary.
- Strong communication and presentation skills and can articulate the value of analytical work to key stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently and with multiple teams.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Desire to live Slide’s Core Values.
- Previous experience with Duck Creek Policy and Billing a plus.
