Description
Objective:  To provide excellent quality of installation & customer experience while meeting industry standards and completing assigned projects on time and under budget.

Summary of Position:                                   
The Electrician is responsible for installing and servicing high and low voltage wiring, systems, and fixtures at customer’s job site.

Duties & Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                                        
  • Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical code.
  • Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware.
  • Test electrical systems for proper installation and operation.
  • The management of van stock and tools as well as van maintenance and appearance.
  • Meet with project manager to ensure timeline and expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with and take direction from other stakeholders and Project Manager.
  • Review sales order, product list and scope of work prior to deploying equipment.
  • Clarify final placement of key components with communication from PM or customer.
  • Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security.
  • Communicate with Project Manager on schedule and expected completion dates.
  • Daily updates to project documentation and work orders in job management software.
  • Accurate time clock entries and job costing.
  • Make decisions and be held accountable to Time and Materials.
  • On call rotation maybe required.
  • Fiscal responsibility for all assets assigned and property within Electrician’s care.
  • Customer service, including the ability to work with high profile and high demand customers.
  • Adherence to state and federal laws, including adherence to traffic laws.


Qualifications:
The Electrician must have strong comprehension of the National Electrical Code. Must be able to read house plans other job site related documentation.  Basic wiring and connectivity skills as it pertains to low voltage standards. 

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits
  • Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs
  • Must have personal tool set or acquire such
  • Ability to work in tight spaces & at ladder height
