JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Associate will maintain accurate inventory levels and product quality by performing essential clerical functions, including inventory system updates and retention, and computer updates. Deliver timely and accurate inventory and adjustment records to support the Inventory Manager in overall company inventory maintenance. Complete essential Returns & Refusals functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Assists the Inventory Manager in handling a company's inventory; and keeps inventory operations smooth and efficient in the stock room, warehouse, or receiving department.
  2. Processes inventory orders, logs items that have been received and items that have been taken from inventory and moves product from the stock room or warehouse to the required location, and vice versa.
  3. Inspects shipments of new stock as they come in, checks to make sure orders have been filled correctly, and looks for damage; and makes arrangements to correct damaged or incorrect orders.
  4. Loads and unloads inventory trucks and places items in their proper place in the stock room or warehouse.
  5. Preparing kits for Centric Fiber project contractors.
  6. Check all products out to contractors and update the inventory system.
  7. Reenter all returned inventory from contractors and job sites that is unused.
  8. Prepares and applies shipping and mailing labels to items that are being shipped out of the company to fulfill orders or replace damaged stock.
  9. Double-checks all prices to ensure that the amount charged for each item matches the amount paid.
  10. Research prices with various suppliers to make sure that stock is being purchased at the best possible price from vendors.
  11. Responsible for assembling risers and meters.​​​​​​
  12. General assembly of any warehouse materials.
  13. Will support both Texas Gas & Centric Fiber field operations teams.
  14. May assist the Field Operations team, fulfilling tasks like running parts to a job site.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

         Equivalent Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One to two years of related experience.
  • Related experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Forklift Certified or the ability to be certified within 30 days
  • Microsoft Office, especially Excel experience required.
  • Experience with NetSuite or a related software platform.
