The Cyber Security Analyst will work diligently to help secure our organization’s Information Assets by helping with our governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) assessments, remediations, and monitoring efforts. In this role, your goal is to help protect our information assets including our sensitive data within various environments, such as in multi-cloud. In addition, help Podimetrics achieve and maintain compliance with applicable information security authoritative sources.
  • Role Description:
 
  • Help secure and monitor information assets, including all hardware and software components
  • Collaborate with IT to securely configure and maintain the desired security posture of Linux/Windows/Mac systems in accordance with the organization’s approved processes
  • Monitor and investigate security events and incidents, including access activities
  • Perform and analyze vulnerability scans
  • Implement and monitor firewalls
  • Help secure employee devices
  • Monitor and report the third-party service providers’ compliance posture
  • Research the latest information technology (IT) security trends
Candidate Requirements
 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, programming, database administration, or a related field
  • Proficient or able to gain proficiency with a broad array of security technologies and methodologies
  • Solid Linux system administration background
  • Broad knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
  • Solid technical knowledge of network security, firewalls, databases, and other cybersecurity-related solutions and strategies, including DMZ, encryption, and authentication and authorization
  • Proficient knowledge of cloud computing, such as AWS and GCP
