We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

What we want you to do:

• Support activities to define training needs within the squad, in cooperation with the Agile Coach

• Work closely with the Principal Engineers, Tech Leads, and the rest of the squad to develop high-quality technical solutions which meet specified business objectives, adhering to business and technical constraints.

• Ensure all software that is created is in line with the technical roadmap, working in close collaboration with the other Engineers in the squad.

• Work with other members of the squad to establish business requirements and refine/estimate user stories.

• Contribute to squad ceremonies including Story Refinement, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Stand-ups, and Demos.

• Collaborate with Near-Shore and Off-Shore teams via ClickUp, Slack, Git, and BitBucket

• Collaborate with peers to write, review, or provide feedback on code reviews.

• Support the development of a strong squad culture focused on transparency, collaboration, and candor.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of object-oriented programming principles

•  Aptitude to develop proficiency in different programming languages as needed

• Strong understanding of MySQL and database principles (including database normalization)

• Strong understanding of HTML/JS/CSS and other web-based programming principles

• Ability to employ good software development principles including the software development life cycle

• Knowledge and understanding of Agile Tools/Frameworks (Scrum in particular)

• Software deployment Troubleshooting of software and server problems

•  Ability to provide on-site emergency support to software products

• Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills 

What we are looking for and what you have to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field IT of education, training, and/or experience required.

• 10 years of software development experience, including large-scale complex projects OR equivalent experience

• Proficiency in Google Office Workspace Products

• Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance.

• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

• Mandatory Skills critical to success: Must be highly proficient in PHP 8.1, Java, JavaScript, MySQL Aurora, HTML, JS, jQuery, RESTful Web API’s, CSS, Bootstrap, Docker, Ajax, GIT, AWS DevOps, TDD, Test Automation, BitBucket, Microservices, Code Reviews, Serverless, AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, EC2, API, Cloud Formation, Terraform, Kubernetes, Firehose, Prometheus, Grafana, Angular, UI/UX, Typescript, Secure Software Development, Full-stack capability required. Experience working with Nginx.
