As we expand our customer deployments, we are currently seeking an experienced SRE to deliver insights from massive-scale data in real-time. What we want you to do:

• Take ownership of the quality of the work you do, ensuring it lines up with the technical and product visions

• Ensure non-functional requirements are considered no less important than functional requirements

• Support activities to define training needs within the squad, in cooperation with the Agile Coach

• Work closely with the Principal Engineers, Tech Leads and the rest of the squad to develop high quality technical solutions which meet specified business objectives, adhering to business and technical constraints.

• Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) are embedded directly within our business-critical engineering teams, working closely with them to design, code, test, run, and evolve the systems. 

• Experience writing code in Java, Go, Shell, Perl, Python, or a similar language

• Working knowledge of, Git, Confluence, Postman, Swaggers, Cloud Watch.

• Mastery of infrastructure deployment technologies and automation tools.

• Well-versed in APIs and different protocols for differing purposes.

• Solid/demonstrable knowledge of a variety of scripting languages.

• Our infrastructure has cloud data centers and Cloud-based architecture, with complex technical challenges affording the opportunity for impactful and thoughtful contributions that align with the DevSecOps philosophies and framework

• Experience with cloud infrastructure environments, preferably AWS, and Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD and config management tools

• Contribute to squad ceremonies including Story Refinement, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Stand-ups, and Demos.

• Collaborate with Near-Shore and Off-Shore teams via ClickUp, Slack, Git, and BitBucket

• Collaborate with peers to write, review, or provide feedback on Scripts & T-SQL code reviews.

• Contribute to your chapter, showcasing personal development progress and supporting/encouraging others.

• Strong understanding of cloud, Bigdata, Networking, SaaS, FaaS, and IaC and DevSecOps fundamentals

• Experience with IaaC CloudFormation Infra Provisioning, Lambda, Glue, VPC, IAM Policies, GIT Pipeline creation, and code build, EC2 and S3.

• Exposure to data processing technologies such as Snowflake, Spark, and Hadoop.

• Experience building and automating CICD pipelines for python flask or java based web services in AWS or equivalent.

• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and EC2, and EKS.

• Basic understanding to AI/ML concepts.

• Experience with Agile framework.

• Strong understanding of MySQL and database principles (including database normalization)

• Ability to employ good software development principles& the software development life cycle

• Knowledge and understanding of Agile Tools/Frameworks (Scrum in particular)

• Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills

What we are looking for and what you have to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field IT of education, training, and/or experience required.

• 2-5 years of software development experience, including large-scale complex projects OR equivalent experience

• Proficiency in Google Office Workspace Products

• Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance.

• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

• ClickUp, Slack, and GitLab skills are desirable

• Experience building and deploying AWS Cloud environment.

• Experience building CICD pipeline using Kubernetes, Docker, or equivalent for end-to-end automation of web applications.

• Good application development experience using Python, and Java.

•  Basic understanding of Data Science model development life cycle.

• Mandatory Skills critical to success: Must be highly proficient in PHP 8.1, Java, JavaScript, MySQL Aurora, JS, Confluence, Kubernetes, Docker, GIT, AWS DevOps, Kafka, Elastic Search, Athena, Terraform, TDD, Test Automation, BitBucket, Microservices, Code Reviews, Serverless, AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, EC2, API, Cloud Formation, Firehose, Prometheus, Grafana, and Experience working with Nginx.
