The Lodge at Historic Lewes
Vantage Point is currently seeking a dynamic, eager, smart, energetic, and relentlessly positive individual for the Director of Community Relations role at our brand-new, soon to open community, The Lodge at Historic Lewes. Lewes Lodge will open Summer 2023 and this role is vital to the success of the community.
Supported by a hands-on corporate and community team, you will be integral to the sales and marketing efforts at Lewes Lodge. Your focus will be on achieving fill-up and occupancy goals for the independent living area of the community. Goals will be accomplished by effectively spreading awareness of Lewes Lodge, nurturing prospects through the discovery process of our community, and ultimately guiding future residents toward their end goal of enjoying a vibrant, worry-free lifestyle for many years to come.
A successful addition to the team will be a compassionate listener who builds deep connections and effectively communicates the story of each prospective resident with the Community Relations Director – the team lead. Lewes Lodge employs a “culture of we,” so it is essential that embrace this as well.
Community Relations as a department is the connection between new residents and their new community lifestyle, and the team will help ensure each family experiences nothing short of excellence and exceeded expectations when they join the Lewes Lodge family as a resident.
The community relations team is dedicated to keeping the community full. This means you will support the team through the following primary duties and responsibilities:
  • Interacts with all leads whether provided through advertising, public relations, referral, or personal contact and turn those leads into residents of the community using professional, empathetic selling skills.
  • Conducts weekly strategy and advisory meetings with the Executive Director.
  • Creates a dynamic marketing plan on a quarterly basis in collaboration with community relations team and corporate support.
  • Submits timely weekly sales results and contributes to regular sales meetings held between and corporate and community.
  • Tracks leads, keeping accurate records on all leads and prospect through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Conducts quarterly competitive market research ranking and analysis and accurately reports data on the competitor tracking form.
  • Understands competitive opportunities and threats and presents strategic alternatives to combat these to the Executive Director.
  • Identifies professional referral sources through site specific research, and manages an organized and trackable process of cultivating these sources
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
