The Contract Services Technician will use fine motor skills, equipment operation, and microscope inspection to produce precision instruments in a consistent and timely manner

Essential Job Functions:

The Contract Services Technician will provide reliable and timely support in the following functions:

• Maintain product flow – parts are processed in a timely manner, coordination and prioritization of job assignments
• Maintain traceability documentation in the form of Job Travelers
• Operate Production Machines
• Train co-workers in aspects of Accu-Cut/Drill lines.
• Be willing to learn and understand Accu-Cut and Accu-Drill machines to the point that they can complete preventative maintenance activities as well as troubleshoot day-to-day issues with the machines
• Follow through with all assignments
• Maintain all supplies, tooling, fixtures, etc.
• Review and update current specifications, prints, and charts and review with personnel
• Assure equipment is in good working condition, proper working order, and is routinely maintained
• Assure materials and supplies are ordered through the manager
• Organize production tooling & processes (floor specs, charts, equipment maintenance schedules, etc.)
• Assist in testing new products and procedures
• Properly document test results
• Evaluate test results and implement and document new processes
• Serve as a back-up for machine operators in the Contract Manufacturing department.
• Order raw material & supplies per re-order system; notify supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
• All other duties as needed to assist the company in attaining its objectives

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires that a person sit or stand for long periods of time. May also involve kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS

· EXPERIENCE – Prior experience with mechanical and electrical systems in a related work environment is preferred

· EDUCATION – High School Diploma required; trade school or bachelor’s degree preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS

Duties are carried out in a cleanroom space and use of PPE and cleanroom smocks will be required when operating in those areas.
