Job Summary


This is a work from home commissionable opportunity with success measured in potential earnings above $100,000 annually. The Referral Specialist is a foundational position, key in our efforts to expand the Vantage client base by providing the Marketing and Sales teams with leads for outbound campaigns. This position requires an experienced outbound call connoisseur who is a relentless hunter and is undaunted by sales obstacles or occasional setbacks. The expert selected for this role is someone who is quick thinking, adept at overcoming barriers and thrives on creating a quick rapport with clients throughout the day.

Your Role
 
  • Generate referral friends/family and affinity group phone, email and address contact details from our most active travelers
  • Use assigned outbound call campaigns to reach both existing and newly acquired travelers to ‘qualify’ them by determining which exciting luxury travel journey they would like to experience next
  • Follow-up and close inbound call, email and web-based leads for referrals and trip qualification
  • Call Marketing generated leads for scheduled travel webinars to ensure participation, to ‘qualify’ next trip destinations and post-webinar to make requested reservations
  • Become a company evangelist by acquiring intimate knowledge about all Vantage products and services  
  • Prepare and update a weekly report with performance vs targets as well as identify emerging trends, opportunities and barriers to overcome
  • Engage in monthly call monitoring feedback with the Sales Manager or Training Manager to assess effectiveness and potential changes to improve performance
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Revenue Management teams to design, develop and implement competitive program changes and promotional opportunities
 
Skills and Experience
 
  • HS diploma required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience outbound calling with a demonstrated record of success
  • Experience in exceeding KPIs including talk time, calls made, conversion and quality control
  • Strong PC skills including experience with Outbound Campaign Systems, MS Office Suite, Project Management Software and CRM Analytics
  • Familiarity with sales scripts and closed question sales techniques
  • Exceptional situational awareness and listening skills
  • Ability to pivot a closing strategy seamlessly based on real-time conversation feedback
  • Excellent organizational, administrative and time-management skills
