Work Schedule Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY/OBEJECTIVE:

Employees who work on the AGL 6400 or 8000 or mount materials to Press Vu or other types of material are responsible for testing the laminators to make sure they are working properly, cleaning them and performing maintenance to ensure quality of lamination. Along with using the laminators these employees must also use adhesives found in the lamination room to mount merchandise to other material, making the product stronger and safer during client’s use of the merchandise. They must organize the laminate materials as well as the mounting. They also trim edges of merchandise to give the client the precise dimensions and image that is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Use AGL laminators to fulfill Work Order specifications

· Cut and place adhesive on mounting materials

· Trim edges of merchandise to fulfill Work Order specifications, using rulers

· Move merchandise in stage management to communicate with other departments

· Clean and maintain the laminators

· Perform testing on laminators before use to ensure quality work on project

· Check that all information regarding Work Order/merchandise is correct before accepting job, perform Mounting/Lamination duties perfectly and check that all information is correct regarding Work Order/merchandise before giving the job to the next stage of Production

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURSOF WORK:

  • Full time / 40 hours weekly

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

· High school diploma or equivalent experience required

· 2+ years’ experience working sign industry

· Experience with laminators/mounting adhesives preferred

· Ability to stand throughout shift and lift 50 pounds, without straining

· Denatured alcohol used to clean merchandise

· Use wide ruler to protect hands while trimming merchandise with utility knife

Pay Range
$18.00   Hourly to $20.00   Hourly
