Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator

Located in Northeast Fresno, California Advanced Pain & Spine Specialists are currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator to join their dynamic team. Under the general supervision of the Practice Administrator, this position is responsible for implementing Human Resources policies and procedures, maintaining accurate and organized personnel records, coordinating payroll and benefits administration, as well as providing general administrative support.
 
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate company recruiting activities including positing job announcements, screening applicants, and assisting with the interview and selection process.
  • Conduct onboarding meetings with new employees including all required notices and documentation.
  • Review employee time and attendance records for accuracy and submit bi-weekly payroll data.
  • Review, approve/decline, and track employees’ time off requests.
  • Facilitate workers’ compensation claims in a timely manner and maintain thorough documentation of claim status and job accommodations as needed.
  • Administer employee leaves of absence including providing necessary employee notices, gathering required documentation, and tracking time off.
  • Support the annual performance evaluation process by reminding Leads of upcoming evaluation dates and reviewing evaluation forms as needed.
  • Maintain employees’ records
  • Coordinate training sessions/webinars
  • Respond to employment verification requests and EDD notices in a timely manner
  • Continue knowledge of HR trends and best practices
 
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Associates Degree required. (bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum three years’ experience in human resources required.  
  • Job-related college coursework or vocational training preferred.
  • Previous medical office experience a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of California State and Federal employment laws.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and related business and communication tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
  • Perceptivity of employee relationships.
