What You’ll Be Doing
  • Install, calibrate and provide on site repair support for the Hycor instruments at customer sites.
  • Provide service in accordance with the maintenance or service contract for each customer. 
  • Provide routine preventative maintenance/verification services for instrumentation in accordance to the procedures Hycor outlined for physician, reference or hospital laboratories. 
  • Maintain the in house instruments at Hycor in accordance to the schedule set forth by Hycor.
  • Repair and testing of instrument components when not on site with a customer.
  • Clearly document service calls.
  • Provide recommendations for changes and improvements to the service programs.
  • Inform management of any potential issues to include any complaints and potential sales.
  • Follow all safety, ESD procedures when working on equipment either at a customer site or in house. 

 
What You’ll Bring to The Table
  • A minimum Associate degree in Instrument or Electrical Engineering or 3 years relevant experience with medical diagnostic equipment.
  • 3+ years prior related work experience with instrumentation, medical diagnostic interaction preferred. 
  • Basic knowledge of computer software applications.
  • Travel is required.  Flexible travel schedule: often stays can be extended.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret schematic diagrams. 
  • Basic understanding of regulatory compliance procedures: ability to handle multiple projects; good written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational capabilities; emphasis to detail; customer satisfaction skills.
  • Excellent diagnostic, problem solving skills to include technical and analytical analysis.
