What You’ll Be Doing- Install, calibrate and provide on site repair support for the Hycor instruments at customer sites.
- Provide service in accordance with the maintenance or service contract for each customer.
- Provide routine preventative maintenance/verification services for instrumentation in accordance to the procedures Hycor outlined for physician, reference or hospital laboratories.
- Maintain the in house instruments at Hycor in accordance to the schedule set forth by Hycor.
- Repair and testing of instrument components when not on site with a customer.
- Clearly document service calls.
- Provide recommendations for changes and improvements to the service programs.
- Inform management of any potential issues to include any complaints and potential sales.
- Follow all safety, ESD procedures when working on equipment either at a customer site or in house.
What You’ll Bring to The Table- A minimum Associate degree in Instrument or Electrical Engineering or 3 years relevant experience with medical diagnostic equipment.
- 3+ years prior related work experience with instrumentation, medical diagnostic interaction preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer software applications.
- Travel is required. Flexible travel schedule: often stays can be extended.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret schematic diagrams.
- Basic understanding of regulatory compliance procedures: ability to handle multiple projects; good written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational capabilities; emphasis to detail; customer satisfaction skills.
- Excellent diagnostic, problem solving skills to include technical and analytical analysis.
