The Crew is responsible for learning the Centric way. The Crew will participate in all fiber installation service and mainline construction activity. The Crew will assist the Crew Foreman in the maintenance and repair of all Centric equipment and company property.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Assist the Splicer in all daily activities.

2. Splice fiber optic cables.

3. Troubleshoot and perform maintenance to resolve signal problems.

4. Operate technical equipment.

5. Reading and interpreting work prints and splice diagrams.

6. Keep detailed records of work activity.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 1+ years of related experience.

• Clean & Valid Driver's License

• Proficiency with hand tools

• Knowledge preferred but will train the right candidate

• Experience with excavator / mini- excavator

• Safety equipment, boots, hard hat, etc.

• Sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift 75 lbs.
