THIS IS A TRAVELING POSITION
Job Responsibilities and Duties- Install, maintain, move, repair and service equipment and machinery throughout the Foundry, Manufacturing division, and Depot, and some in the Power Plant.
- Plan and layout details of equipment or project in accordance with general plan of construction and installation prepared by plant engineering, immediate supervision, and manufacturer of equipment.
- Set up and separate bench or stand grinder, radial and bench drill presses, hydraulic, bolt threader, racks, bins, conveyor, etc.
- Re-assemble parts and units, attach, and fasten parts and units to equipment, machine frame or member, and completely re-assemble unit.
- Install, check, anchor and test completed project, new machine, or a complete systems or unit.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
- Produce quality work that demonstrates pride of workmanship.
- Maintain your assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner.
- Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management.
- Perform other related or similar duties as required.
- Maintain all safety standards.
