Job Description:
ExoAnalytic Solutions develops and uses a variety of modeling and simulation tools for engineering, engagement, mission and campaign-level analysis of defense and space systems. We are a recognized modeling and simulation leader with deep domain expertise and experience applying our software tools on studies and problems of national importance.

ExoAnalytic Solutions is seeking an exceptionally talented Space Systems Modeling and Development Software Engineer with a solid understanding of software development (including agile management and reporting techniques), experience producing/testing/using modern software for simulation or modeling of advanced systems, and an interest in space systems or operations to join our Northern Virginia office. 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Work on a team with other engineers.

• Experience using software version control systems.
• Experience with one or more high-level general-purpose programming languages.
• Experience working with two or more from the following: 3D visualization, simulations, software development, user interfaces, system modeling, behavior modeling, state machines, space systems, control theory, orbital dynamics, and/or model-based systems engineering.
• An active Top-Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.

• Experience with relevant programming languages, including but not limited to: Python, Cython, C/C++, Java, XML, SQL, JavaScript, shader programming languages (GLSL), MATLAB
• Experience in space systems design or subsystem design, including optics, remote sensing, image processing, communications, or power systems.
• Interest in and ability to learn about space systems, space operations, and related or space-adjacent technologies.

Salary: $112,000- $200,000+ 

Actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and years of experience.
