We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to assist our mechanical engineers and senior designers in developing building mechanical and plumbing system designs and details including but not limited to ductwork, piping, sanitary, domestic water, medical gas, compressed air, natural gas, domestic water heating, and solar water heating. Our designers assist in field investigations and site visits.
The successful candidate has one or more years’ experience in mechanical drafting. A background in field investigations and site visits is a plus.
Computer skills: Revit, AutoCAD, and MS. Office Suite.
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma; Associate Degree or more (preferred).
Available to travel up to 20% of the time depending on the project.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
