Description
At MMT - Glebar, our objective is to develop excellence in automation, machine design, material handling, and custom tooling. Each position contributes to the success of the company through accountability, responsiveness, and a solutions-oriented mindset. The Warehouse Associate will perform various warehouse activities as well as receive, input, sort, load, and unload products. You will organize stock, maintain inventory, and process, pack, and ship orders. Keen attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products for defects and reporting damages as needed.
Overview- Process, pack, and ship orders accurately
- Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed
- Inspect products for damages; report as needed
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
- Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products
- Prepare contract manufacturing products for shipping
- Prepare products for shipping
- Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures
- Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
- Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
- Regularly perform repetitive tasks
- Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
- Must be willing to work on their feet for most of the shift
- Follow company procedures and directives.
- Proven work experience in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
- Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems
- Solid communication skills and inventory skills
- 1 -2 years of related experience preferred.
- Experience with cycle counting, inventory control, shipping/receiving a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
- Must be detail-oriented and neat.
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent required, technical school experience preferred.
