GSE Workforce Solutions is currently working with a major client who are looking to hire a manufacturing, Quality inspector II based out of their location in Orlando, FL starting ASAP! 

- This position is a Contract-to-hire position, although client may also consider a Direct Hire opportunity for the right candidate
- Pay Rate: $20-$28.00/hour, DOE
- This is a contract to hire opportunity.
- Work Schedule: Second Shift (3:00PM - 11:30PM)

Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide sponsorship for this position.

Ideal Candidate should possess the following - 

- Experience on FPI / Red Dye Processing - Perform visual, dimensional, and other non-destructive inspections 
- ASNT Level 2 Penetrant inspection certification is a plus
- Experience with Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, Eddy Current and/or Radiographic inspections is a plus Upper Tier candidates
 - Should have: ASNT Level 2 required 10+ years of PT/FPI experience Proficiency with multiple other inspection techniques (Mag Particle, Ultrasonic, Eddy Current and/or Radiographic inspections)

SUMMARY:
Set up and operate various types of computerized and state-of-the-art nondestructive test equipment determining the most effective inspection methods to be used for each specific application.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Read, interpret and perform all operations as necessary per drawings and/or work instructions; • General knowledge of all other shop processes; • Multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision; • Perform TPMs on equipment; • All Duties, Responsibilities, and Skills as required for Quality Inspector I Job Description; • Perform eddy current, ultrasonic, FPI/PT, and Acetone/PT inspections; • Assist with on the job training, certification efforts and consistently meets production requirements; • Perform other such duties that may be required.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; or at least three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one[1]on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
