Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete all administrative tasks associated with agency set-up, credentialing, and compliance.
  • Process appointment applications, agent contracting paperwork, licenses, forms, and all other required information.
  • Review documents for completeness and proactively solicit missing documents.
  • Contact agencies and relevant partners to verify that contact information, websites, and contracts are up to date.
  • Assist with processing agency updates, agent of record changes and book transfer requests.
  • Organize and update agency files per regulatory and industry requirements, complying with all federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Assist agents with inquiries regarding their licensing and appointment status.
  • Respond to telephone, online/electronic, and written inquiries.
  • Assist Territory Sales Managers in optimizing the agency partner relationships.
  • Assist with Agency Services-related projects, as requested.
  • Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active State Personal Lines Property & Casualty licensure preferred, but not required.
  • 2 or more years’ experience in customer service, office administration, or related required; supporting insurance processing preferred.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external individuals on a professional level.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn new systems and applications.
  • Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Demonstrated customer service focus, exhibiting exceptional customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
