Contract Specialist 

Active TS/SCI Clearance Required 

Fort Belvoir, VA (Hybrid) 

• Provide hands-on contract administration support for all phases of the acquisition cycle with particular emphasis on contract administration for service contracts.
• Possess ability to assist with strategic level issues, acquisition planning, formulate negotiation strategies, develop negotiation objectives, negotiate various types of contracts and analyze cost and pricing data.
• Update procurement policy documents.
• Assist with procuring services using various types of contracts.
• Assist with administration of various type of contracts.
• Requires knowledge of firm fixed price, IDIQ, GSA, cost and award fee contracts.
• Direct customer interaction in all phases of contracting cycle.

• Proficiency in preparing pre- and post-award documentation.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Contract experience in either the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD).
• Expert knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
• Firsthand operational experience in a wide range of contracting methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Proficiency in Government Contract Writing Systems (e.g., PRISM, PD, etc.).
• BA/BS, in business field, or with at least 24 business related credits.
• Minimum of 6 years hands-on experience.
• DAWIA level II or FAC-C level II certification.
