Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic roadmap for team layout and business operations.
  • In partnership with the SVP of HomeFront, develop strategic business plans and drive strategy for new lines of business.
  • Working with the SVP of HomeFront and Slide Finance, create and manage Agency budget; ensure the approved budget is met or beat.
  • Evaluate and implement all necessary operational systems for HomeFront; continuously review for possible innovation and/or improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze the market, competitors, trends, and benchmarks in the industry to identify business opportunities and potential threats.
  • Research and provide data on new lines of business opportunities.
  • Work with business leaders to formulate strategies for improving performance from top to bottom.
  • Create and continually strengthen relationships between business partners and HomeFront.
  • Experiment with innovative ways to drive the brand, scale the audience reach and gain clients.
  • Partner with the SVP to define and execute growth and scaling market channels.
  • Provide support to client stakeholders to obtain an understanding of service needs and problems.
  • Implement systematic changes to improve service based on feedback.
  • Continually plan for rapid growth, managing costs and associated change through effective communication.
  • Leverage the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to achieve business goals and successful execution of operational procedures.
  • Standardize business processes across service delivery footprint.
  • Producing a clear, cohesive, and consistent representation of the operational delivery to the client and HomeFront/Slide leadership.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and key results areas for all Agency positions.
  • Recruit and select team members, coach to create best-in-class team.
  • Provide growth opportunities and guidance to all Agency team members.
  • Work with each direct report to establish performance goals; monitor performance routinely and meet regularly with each direct report to review performance against goals.

Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a relevant field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years of property and casualty insurance experience with at least 5 years in operations management.
  • Advanced experience and understanding of insurance industry.
  • Strong people management and team leadership skills.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects required.
  • Proven strategic planning and budgeting experience.
  • Demonstrated experience setting, monitoring, and meeting quarterly and annual goals.
  • Experience building and scaling teams and systems.
  • P&C (Property & Casualty) license preferred.
