What you will do:
Rumble is seeking a Cloud Storage Architect who will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing our software defined storage infrastructure.
Job Description:- Design of multi-tiered storage environments
- Installation and management of storage in large-scale public and private cloud environments
- Performing integration with OpenStack, Kubernetes, and other platforms
- Continuous performance tuning of storage environments.
- Develop metrics and alerting of storage related environments
- Research, prototype and innovate storage solutions
- Other duties, as assigned
- Expert level experience with design, installation, support, and management of large-scale, software defined, storage clusters
- Experience with deploying large clusters and providing S3 API functionality across federated clusters
- Extensive working knowledge of RGW, RBD, and CephFS
- Experience with integrating storage with OpenStack and Kubernetes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver sound results
- Experience with Zabbix, Prometheus and/or other monitoring solutions
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Extensive knowledge of how various storage systems work, including the ability to analyze, develop formulas and provide figures to various scenarios, possible configurations, and solutions
- Knowledge of scripting and automation programming like Golang, Python, Perl, Bash
- Experience in programming and development
