Job Summary: 
The Sr. Programming Trainer enhances the competencies of our training department by designing and conducting training programs with a primary focus on our Partners.  Responsible for performing training needs assessments, conducting needs analysis, designing curriculum and learning materials, and managing all phases of training delivery. 

Essential Functions:
Analysis

  • Proficient knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, Database (Oracle and SQL Server), and PLSQL/TSQL

  • Knowledge of React.js, Redux, and Web UI Frontend development

  • Develop technical courses, making the complex simple

  • Analyze customer training needs

  • Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the current curriculum

  • Establish complete and robust learning development plans

  • Identify structure and ideal delivery method for iBASEt as a company

  • Work closely with the Documentation department, Product Management, Implementation Services, and the Partner channel to translate all analysis into educational offerings which guide the partner in the successful adoption, implementation, integration, and use of the Solumina product

  • As appropriate, increase iBASEt on-demand/on-line training and documentation offerings to facilitate partner learning

  • Develop metrics to and assessments to ensure the impact of training on customer performance, satisfaction, and retention

  • Determine methods to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into partner work behavior and installed accounts

Design

  • Plan, schedule, and participate in the development of educational offerings and all related materials in response to product releases and partner needs

  • Periodically review ongoing programs to ensure they accurately reflect the current functionality of the software

  • Stay abreast of new trends and tools in partner training

Delivery

  • Set up, configure, and maintain necessary equipment to support training courses

  • Set up, configure, and maintain necessary processes and cloud services to support virtual instructor led delivery

  • Direct structured, engaging, and effective learning experiences and monitor their quality results

  • Deliver training courses, virtual and on premise.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a general understanding of various software development tools and structure (e.g. Kong, REDIS, Mongo DB, Kubernetes, and APIs.)

  • Review and understand the Application user interface and integration for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) processes and the ability to discuss its benefits with customers.

  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques

  • Knowledge of large-scale, discrete manufacturing – experience in MES, SQM, or MRO is required

  • Requires experience in manufacturing processes, information systems, and system implementation methodologies

  • Developing effective, maintainable code on time

  • Designing, coding, and testing new features

  • Understand application schema logical and physical models

  • Resolve software issues in terms of functionality, usability, performance

  • Develop and implement systems interfaces, application configurations, specific customizations, data load, data migration, and application upgrade for assigned projects, as required by project requirements.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences

  • Proven experience in designing multiple educational offerings in a corporate setting

  • Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles

  • Proven ability to master the full training cycle

  • Enthusiasm for learning things and teaching others

  • Demonstrated focus on making the learning process flexible, fast-paced and enjoyable

  • Experience developing and delivering Virtual Instructor Led courses

  • Exposure to learning management software

  • Works in a team environment

  • Sound decision making and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and in database software

  • Ability to travel as needed

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline; or equivalent

  • 5+ years developing and delivering software product training courses, preferably for external customers

  • Proficient knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, Database (Oracle and SQL Server), and PLSQL/TSQL

  • Knowledge of React.js, Redux, and Web UI Frontend development

  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills, both written and oral

  • Availability to travel outside the home city at least 50% of the time, internationally 25% of the time.

  • Must be a US citizen

Salary Midpoint: $110,000.00
