Job Summary: As part of the Marketing team, you will collaborate across the company to design user experiences, UI, and design assets that differentiate Slide and our technology products in the marketplace.
Your daily role will include conducting research, building user journeys and prototypes, designing experiences and graphic elements. For all efforts, you will use data-driven approaches to measure and optimize the impact of your designs. You will also play a foundational role in building brand systems, graphics, and interactive elements that bring our brands to life across all touchpoints.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide creative partnership to cross-functional teams, translating business goals into on-brand design work, ensuring the user experience, business goals, and technical feasibility align.
- Work with business teams and engineers to design mockups, user flows, and prototypes that demonstrate product functionality and capabilities.
- Lead feedback sessions and surveys to research users’ needs, ease of use, and satisfaction when interfacing with company websites and products.
- Assist in adapting product experiences to different audiences based on their needs and the devices they use (personalization, responsive design, accessibility).
- Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI (user interface) specifications.
- Test sample applications, websites, and software to assess user experience and ease of design.
- Continuously monitor, identify, and troubleshoot UX problems.
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
- Develop creative design elements for campaigns and other initiatives that bring the brand and value proposition to every touchpoint.
- Create original graphic and interactive designs, including interface elements like menus, tabs, and widgets.
- Develop and adhere to a design system, style standards, and templates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements:- 2+ years of UX/UI experience.
- 4+ years of graphic design experience.
- Portfolio that demonstrates a breadth of project sizes and the application of user-centered design principles including ideating, concepting, and executing brand work across multiple channels.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:- Advanced skills in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience in designing responsive web and mobile applications, with accessibility in mind.
- Experience that demonstrates design work such as wireframes, user flows, high fidelity mockups, and other deliverables.
- Experience conducting user research, audience analysis, and usability testing.
- Experience implementing design systems and guidelines that account for branding, usability, accessibility, and personas.
- Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.
- Agile implementation experience is a plus.
