Project Description:
The Data Programmer/Analyst contributes to the analysis of client data through understanding of business data structures and use of statistical programming expertise. This individual will develop programs for and produce documentation of analytical programs focused on addressing specific business functions and problems.
• Provide data, analytical and statistical programming support to various client engagements
• Work closely with team members to create data and analysis program specifications based on client requirements
• Produce and maintain programming documentation for all work
• Contribute to the development, documentation and maintenance of a reusable programming code library
• Have opportunities to work with data scientists closely on machine learning projects
• Have opportunities to work other data-related efforts like dashboarding and scaling up efforts in large-scale data environments
• Stay abreast of industry developments in the Statistical Programming field and apply to appropriate systems and processes
Required:
• 3-5 years R programming experience in academia or industry. Financial services industry experience preferred
• B.S. or M.S in Statistics or related field
• Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player with demonstrated track record of success in cross-functional team environment
Desired:
• Knowledge of SAS, SQL, Python
