This position will work within our Senior Living Apartment division on property assets ranging in size from 250-300 units in the Dallas, Texas area and reports to the Dining Manager.

We are looking for a competent Dining Experience Ambassador / Qualified Server to serve our residents their daily meals and maintain the dining area. The successful candidate will encompass the following skills:

SUMMARY: The Dining Experience Ambassador / Server provides exceptional service to residents in a timely, courteous, efficient and accurate manner with a sincerely pleasant and professional demeanor. He or she performs a variety of duties related to meal service, including greeting residents, taking orders, stocking, cleaning, and catering. In addition, the Dining Experience Ambassador / Server must be aware of all dietary needs or restrictions of each resident and must follow proper sanitation standards and keep his or her workstation clean and sanitary at all times.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents

· Sets tables before meals

· Greets all residents in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner

· Provides feedback from residents to Dining Manager regarding meals and food preferences

· Busses and resets tables in the dining area following meals

· Restocks dining room tables with condiments

· Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices

· Performs other related duties as assigned by management

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· This job has no supervisory responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

. Computer skills required: Property Management Software

· Dining experience in senior communities preferred

· Other skills required:

o Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision

o Detail oriented

o Able to work in a team environment and take direction

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Afternoon shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends

Experience:

• Dining: 1 year (Preferred)
• Senior Living: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
