@Orchard LLC has been retained by a growing Federal contractor with a great culture to identify an experienced Senior Business Analyst. 

​​​​​​
As the Business Analyst you will; 

  • Assisting clients in designing, developing, launching, managing, and improving new projects and programs that are focused on achieving their strategic goals, objectives, and mission
  • Assisting clients to identify, develop, and implement performance metrics and measurement tools to monitor program performance and evaluate whether programs are achieving their goals
  • Assist clients in analyzing projects and programs to identify risks and help develop, apply, and monitor mitigations
  • Documenting and evaluating business processes, making recommendations for process improvements, and providing direct support and leadership for implementation and deployment
  • Applying a variety of analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills and techniques
  • Producing a variety of communications from informal email interactions with clients to formal memos, issue papers, presentations, executive briefings, and others
  • Conducting research to investigate client problems and work collaboratively with your team to formulate and recommend solutions
  • Support clients in collecting and analyzing data, producing models and visualizations, and draw conclusions from the data to improve decision-making
  • Analyze and help develop and/or improve policies and procedures for a variety of programs and operational needs

Your background will likely include the following; 
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years' experience as a senior consultant or equivalent
  • Minimum Degree Required: Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years experience
  • Experience supporting clients to identify business process improvements and gathering requirements to help achieve efficiencies, and improved oversight
  • Experience with developing and growing client relationships, as well as, proactively engaging with clients to identify challenges, recommend solutions and manage expectations
  • Ability to participate in client-facing discussions and meetings
  • Demonstrate active listening skills to gain understanding of key customer issues
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills)
  • Heightened attention to detail, and the ability to create and edit technical and non-technical written work products and graphical presentations
  • Anticipating client needs, recognizing and acting on opportunities to enhance client service and expand the scope of engagement
  • Desire to work on a team in a collaborative culture and face directly with clients
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and reporting data
  • Experience with facilitation and consensus building skills for facilitating interviews, work groups and/or focus groups
  • Ability to quickly comprehend complexity and convey findings in concise, well-written narratives
  • At least 3 years experience with Microsoft Office programs including, but not limited to, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio
  • Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mind-set
  • Experience working in teams to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to view problems from multiple angles and apply a variety of solutions to solving them
  • Clearly articulating Chirality’s value-propositions and preparing final drafts of major deliverables assuring quality control
Highly Desired: 
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Management Consulting field
  • Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSSMBB)
  • Certification(s) Preferred: CAPM, PMP, or other accepted program/project management certification, such as, but not limited to, a university certificate/degree or US Government Defense Acquisition University (DAU) project management certification
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management principles and the phases of project management (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Closure)
  • Experience planning, executing, and managing projects of varying degrees of complexity, preferably projects that involve serving a client and engaging directly with the client throughout project performance
  • Experience supporting Federal Government clients
  • Business development, proposal development experience
  • Supporting business development (as needed) by researching and tracking opportunities and supporting proposal responses that align to candidate's areas of expertise
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
