Role:  Corporate Recruiter 

The Corporate Recruiter is empowered to seek out and hire the most energetic, qualified candidates.  RFT is working to build a strong team to drive organizational growth over the next 5 years. Your position as a Corporate Recruiter is crucial to building up our entire RFT team to be ready to help deliver the best solution to our customers. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Locate qualified, potential applicants using databases or online job posting boards 

  • Apply principles of behavioral interviewing to access the qualifications of candidates 

  • Sources candidates through cold calling, search engines, referrals, networking, social media, and other avenues.  

  • Screens, interviews, assesses, and hires top-quality candidates.  

  • Develops and maintains relationships with colleges, agencies, and other sources of high-quality candidates. 

  • Works with others in the organization to improve their interviewing skills. 

  • Utilize BrightMove applicant tracking system. 

  • Establish local college relationships for interns and co-ops. 

  • Scheduling and conducting interviews with potential hires via email, phone, video, or in person. 

  • Developing resources for booths at career fairs. 

  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices. 

  • Perform reference checks as needed. 

  • Manage employee experience from initial contact through onboarding. 

  • Collaborate and manage retained recruiter activities as needed. 

Basic Requirements and Skills: 

  • BA degree and minimum 5 years experience in a high-volume staffing environment. 

  • Ability to source and identify candidates.  

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Ability to listen to and communicate effectively and accurately with hiring managers. 

  • Ability to write successful creative job descriptions. 

  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems. 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.  

  • Comfortable making decisions independently. 

  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.      

  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods. 

  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations. 

  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues. 

  • Recruiting for a variety of functions including B2B Sales, IT and Engineering at multiple levels in the organization. 

  • Proven experience with effective recruiting tools and research techniques for proactive candidate identification.
