Information Technology (IT) Manager
Salary: $70,000/ Year + Comprehensible benefit package (please see below for full benefits offered details).
Work location: Administrative Offices - Mid Wilshire, Los Angeles
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week. May be required to work evening/weekend.
Primary Duties: To manage the Information Systems of the Agency and provide technical and facilities support to agency staff. Organizes and manages the planning and successful implementation of information systems, and coordinates with technology consultants to help ensure the effective, efficient, and secure operation of technology initiatives, while fostering innovation in daily functions.
Other Duties:
Technical Support- Manages and evaluates the use of the Agency’s telecommunications, networks, programming, media and desktops, and other operational support systems.
- Manages the execution of network support services for the Agency.
- Monitor project progress and set deadlines, address issues that may arise during the course of a project and manage the project budget.
- Evaluates and recommends, with the IT provider and other IT consultants, information technology strategies, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Advises and guides strategic technological support planning with COO and IT providers to achieve business goals.
- Works with IT provider to ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
- Acts as liaison daily with IT providers and consultants.
- Develops, tracks, and controls the technical and support services operating budget.
- Prepare information for timely submission of invoices and progress reports to ensure that necessary records, files, and other materials are maintained for efficient conduct of business and audit requirements
- Coordinates hardware and software acquisition, moves, and changes. Maintains records and maintenance contracts.
- Works with administration and staff to support on-site IT needs.
- Interacts with internal staff to help resolve IT-related issues and streamline processes and procedures. Ensures senior staff are adequately supported with any IT issues.
- Coordinates with the Administration Team and IT provider to set up computer stations for new hires and ensures IT orientation of new employees.
- Assist in development of plans with regards to space planning, designs, and technological support.
- Manages effective and timely deployment of computer equipment, internally and offsite.
- Coordinates, with IT provider, equipment inventory and verifies invoices for computer supplies.
- Assists with troubleshooting phone system and deployment.
- Participates responsibly in department and Agency staff meetings.
- Responds to time sensitive assignments and special projects as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, MIS or related field required, Master’s degree preferred
Extensive technical and supervisory experience may be substituted for degree.
Project Management certification preferred.
Experience in desk/field work in troubleshooting of various PC technologies. Including but not limited to Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (all versions). Setting up and configuring Outlook/Office 365, mobile email client setup. Iphone/Android. Hardware setup and troubleshooting for HP and Dell PC’s, Mac’s and mobile devices. Basic administration of cloud services. Office 365 or GSuite. Basic networking skills – Wifi, switches, basic IP skills.
Requires excellent knowledge of technology and support environments, including telecommunications, networks, programming, media and desktops, solid understanding of computer systems characteristics, features and integration capabilities.
Must have knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications and outsourced systems, including decision support systems and technical experience with systems networking, databases, Web development and user support.
Must have excellent understanding of project management principles and proven experience in planning, organization and development required.
Valid CA Driver's License and insurance
May be required to work evening/weekend.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE INCLUDES:
· 10 days of Vacation per year for the first 2 years of service. Increases. Accrual at start.
· 10 Sick Days per year. Accrual at start.
· 11 Holidays – no waiting period.
· 18 Paid Hours early release – no waiting period.
