Designer I
Job Summary:
Performs routine design/drafting assignments, which require knowledge and skill in basic drafting/design techniques, procedures, knowledge of applicable industry standards, and instrument industry standards. Assignments are designed to further develop the incumbent’s job knowledge and abilities.
Job Responsibilities:- Must learn/be able to read design/engineering drawings.
- Provide drafting services for electrical and instrument designers.
- Modify and create drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
- Create loops, wiring diagrams, block diagrams, plan drawings, elevation drawings.
- Keeps lead designer informed of progress.
Job Qualifications:- Entry level position with 0-2 years electrical & instrument drafting/design experience.
- Familiar with 3D modeling.
- Familiar with AutoCAD.
- Experience in the consulting engineering industry.
