About the Position:

National Grid Renewables is seeking a Human Resources Intern for the summer of 2023. The intern will be an Undergraduate candidate. This Internship is for an individual that is looking for a career experience in Human Resources and is hungry to make a difference...as part of a great team. This opportunity will be local to our Bloomington, MN office and hybrid.


What you will be doing:

The intern will focus a variety of areas within HR, and present on their experience at the end of the summer. Focus areas will include assisting with:
  • Human Resources
    • Onboarding new employees
    • Verifications of employment
    • Benefits and Payroll
    • Answering general employee requests
    • Planning the Annual Employee Retreat
    • Ad hoc reporting requests
    • Other duties and projects as assigned
  • Talent Acquisition
    • Screening resumes
    • Scheduling interviews
    • Submitting background checks for new hires
    • Other duties as assigned
  • HR Communications and Programs
    • Assist with our DEI and culture initiatives
    • Internal staff communications and events

What you bring to this role:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree(s) in Human Resources
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Analytical-minded
  • Detail-oriented

  • Strong written and oral communicator
