Job Summary: 

The Integration Engineer will provide a crucial role in ensuring seamless integration between Solumina, Manufacturing Intelligence (MI), and other business-critical applications in a client’s IT infrastructure. Advises and oversees the processes of importing, storing, and extracting data relative to a Solumina instance or MI or both during a Professional Services managed project. These processes include initial data loads during instantiation as well as the design, configuration, and installation of steady state data exchanges.
Essential Functions:

  • Assess client needs and requirements for integration and provide direction for solution design including collaboration with Client Partner to estimate customer requirements
  • Perform the role of Integration Engineer including:
    • Manage the integration tasks during a project lifecycle, including planning & design, implementation, testing, and deployment
    • Documenting completed implementation
    • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise
    • Support educating the customer on the integration for the Solumina application and on administrator responsibilities.
    • Ensure data security requirements for customer data are met
    • Deliver solutions to migrate legacy data to Solumina by using BIS touchpoints and/or Structured Query Language (SQL) Stored procedures.
  • Stay up to date with the latest integration technologies and techniques
  • Contribute to the company’s continuous improvement initiatives
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the integration practice within iBASEt Professional Services Technical Services.
Requirements:
  • Effective communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
  • A strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with databases, data modeling, and data management. Knowledge of SQL and experience with Oracle and SQL Server database management systems (DBMS) is important
  • IT experience with manufacturing enterprise systems is a must.
  • Understand PLM Data Flow and interfaces /models.
  • Understand MES/MRO Data Flow including Parts, Libraries files/OBJECTS, BOM, Process Routing, Work Order/ Order process, Operations/Steps, Data Collections, and background table structures.
  • Understand ERP Data Flow, ERP modules including Sales, Procurement/Purchasing, Supplier management, Inventory Management, Labor and Capacity planning/scheduling, manufacturing orders, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Design Cost and Actual Manufacturing Cost, and backend Table Structures.
  • Strong understanding of: SQL, JMS Messaging, XML, JSON, REST API
  • Understand Data mapping concert not limited to OAGIS stand or EDI X12 Standard.
  • Knowledge of data security principles including encryption, and data back-up and recovery
  • Possible travel 20-30% of time
Required Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in data migration/integration or database administration or related.
  • Experience with complex manufacturing environments e.g. Aerospace & Defense is a plus
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
  • Aero space industry experience is a plus

    Salary Range : $90,000- $140,000.00
