About this role . . .
As a Christ follower, the Help Desk Technician is an active part of reaching the lost by supporting Biblica staff with their technology needs. This person is the first point of contact between end-users and IT and will actively pursue a strategic and proactive support role to empower end-users through training and implementation of technology tools and services. The Help Desk Technician provides both hardware and software support across multiple platforms, technologies, and operating systems, all of which will comprise desktops, workstations, mobile devices, and technology systems and applications. This position is a hybrid position located in Palmer Lake, Colorado.

  • The ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff in an easy to understand manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong cross cultural communication skills.
  • Skilled confidence in both Mac and PC environments.
  • A team player with a calm and flexible approach to handling pressure and stress while adapting to the needs of the team and project.
  • The ability to work independently and problem solve.
You Have . . .
  • High School diploma.
  • IT Degree (or related field) preferred.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of: Microsoft Windows, OS X, iOS, and Android operating systems, Dell and Apple hardware. Experience with device management tools a plus.
  • Detailed knowledge of various software and SaaS platforms, including Microsoft Office, Office 365/Exchange, antivirus solutions (such as ESET), Box.com and other file collaboration tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Zoom. Helpful to have experience using Freshdesk ticketing support software.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Working remotely with minimal supervision.

Pay and Benefits . . .
  • Salary range: $21-$26/hour USD (determined by qualifications/experience)
  • 40 hours per week
  • Biblica is a remote first organization; however, this is a hybrid position and requires living in Colorado.
  • Biblica offers competitive benefits and compensation packages to Biblica employees to include but not limited to: holiday and paid-time (PTO) off, sick leave, retirement plan, etc.
