Position Summary:  The Maintenance Supervisor of Savannah Lakes RV Resort performs maintenance duties requiring technical labor skills, including plumbing, light carpentry and construction, HVAC repairs and adjustments, and appliance repair. You will work with your maintenance team to ensure that the community meets the company’s quality maintenance standards.

  • Oversees team member selection, training, scheduling, and development. 

  • Conducts safety meetings, training and maintains MSDS binders. 

  • Inspects and approves team’s work performance. 

  • Reviews grounds, facilities, pools, rental units, infrastructure, and river frontage. 

  • Installs, maintains, performs preventative maintenance on, and recommends replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment. 

  • Executes various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in a maintenance log, either through delegation or by directly handling required tasks. 

  • Ensures proper maintenance, repairs, logs and inventory for resort buildings, rental units, vehicles, and equipment. 

  • Prioritizes and delegates resort service requests while facilitating tracking on the type and frequency of requests. 

  • Guarantees that the maintenance team performs according to company standards and that service requests are handled in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner. 

  • Monitors the maintenance and upkeep of all community mechanical equipment, including water heater and HVAC units in common buildings, lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc. 

  • Maintains all resort landscaping including weed control, river frontage and irrigation systems. 

  • Manages and operates propane fill station and propane tanks for resort’s rental units. 

  • Develops weekly staff work schedules within budgeted labor guidelines to ensure maximum productivity and revenue while maintaining service standards and quality. 

  • Operates within your team’s approved budget and makes decisions with respect to the allocation of funds within the maintenance department. 

  • Communicates regularly and professionally with management and staff. 

  • Assists management with special maintenance projects. 

  • Completes on-call emergency services as required. 

  • Performs duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: 

​​Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.​
