JOB DUTIES
Essential Job Functions:
The Inventory Clerk III will provide reliable and timely support in the following functions:
  • Responsible for all MRP/ERP activities, transactions, control, and accuracy of all Inventory elements such as: Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Work-In-Progress, Safety Stock, Packing Materials, MRO Supplies, Consumables, Floor Stock, Transit Inventory, Excess Inventory, Book Inventory.
  • Inventory control, management, and kitting of all Manufacturing Tooling and Fixtures.
  • Prepare and maintain records of all inventories.
  • Records and monitors all items with a shelf-life and notifies or re-orders as applicable.
  • Performs daily Part Requests and processes Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s).
  • Monitors and maintains job backorders and shortages.
  • Investigates inventory shortages and discrepancies, finding solutions as needed and/or reports issues.
  • Receive, unpack, and deliver goods, re-stocking items as necessary and labelling shelves.
  • Perform physical cycle counts of inventory, reconcile actual on-hand stock to anticipated levels.
  • Enters data for inventory and cycle count adjustments and transfers.
  • Sales Order fulfillment generation and kitting.
  • Manufacturing Order (MO) picklist allocations, issuing, and kitting of materials.
  • Confirming MO router completeness (Time Entry, Work Centers complete) before inventory acceptance.
  • Full and Partial MO receipting of product into Finished Goods inventory.
  • Scanning/forwarding of completed MOs in support of variance and router validation and archive process.
  • Purchase Order receipting and acceptance of all part types into inventory.
  • ITT generation, kitting, and processing between other SYNEO sites.
  • Sales & Operations (S&OP) activities and management related to cycle counting, ABC categories, component usage analysis, slow-moving and “dead” parts, and special projects as determined.
  • Creating, modifying, organizing, maintaining, and controlling Bin Locations in parallel with all parts, consumables, and expensed items.
  • Receiving, scanning and archiving all certification documents as required by QA/ISO process and regulations (i.e. Raw Material Certificates, Certificates of Conformance, etc.).
  • Management and execution of end-of-year Physical Inventory count.
  • Provides high quality customer service to all internal requests at Stockroom Service Area with promptness, and accuracy.
  • Works inter-departmentally as necessary to fulfill distribution requirements.
  • Backup role function supporting Shipping & Receiving personnel and Production Planning and Scheduling personnel.
  • All other duties as needed to assist the company in attaining its objectives
SKILLS
  • Strong analytical thinking and systematic approach to problem solving.
  • Experience with Inventory Management MRP systems in a manufacturing environment (GP Dynamics preferred). Knowledge of supplies, equipment and/or service ordering and inventory control.
  • Computer literacy and database management skills, displaying ability to learn new systems and proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality, efficiency, and thoroughness.
  • Confident as an independent thinker, yet proactive in communication with others as needed to be successful in the role.
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data, receive, stock and/or deliver goods.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Able to function in a dynamic, fast paced, environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • EXPERIENCE - Minimum of 3 years of inventory control experience.
  • EDUCATION – AS/AA, or BS in related field of study is preferred. Experience may be substituted for education requirement or equivalent combination of preferred qualifications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position involves considerable physical activity. Routinely requires the ability to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to twenty five (25) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position will work in a Machine Shop within a Manufacturing environment, and as such, will encounter some dust/dirt, and noise/vibration.​​​​​
