Child Care Provider Specialist 

Salary: $19 - 21/ hour DOE + Comprehensible benefit package (please see below for full benefits offered details).

Work location:  Administrative Offices - Mid Wilshire, Los Angeles

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
                  Hybrid Schedule – 2 days onsite/3 days remote!
                  Occasional weekends or evenings.

Primary Duties: Implement all functions of Child Care Subsidy Programs (Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Alternative Payment, Bridge and Berendo Program) with a specific focus on child care providers.

Other Duties: 
Maintain knowledge of and compliance with Community Care Licensing regulations, Funding Terms and Conditions, Title V and 22 Regulations, and agency policies, procedures, timelines, Stage 1 Contract, Payment Rules, Administrative directives and timelines, and mSign.
Assist with the recruitment and outreach of providers for the program.
Enroll, certify, and re-certify providers.
Assist providers in contracting and completion of subsidy agreements.  
Assist and troubleshoot for providers on resolving problems with children and families.
Complete and verify all participant’s handbooks, files, forms, reports, records, and surveys. 
Complete and verify all provider agreements, forms, files, records, and reports, as applicable.
Be familiar with payment regulations, calculation of payments, and family fee billing. Assist with payment and family fee inquiries as necessary.
Maintain a low error rate in program audits. Provide corrective action as needed.
Assist with provider program trainings, presentations and special events for providers.
Maintain working knowledge of Care Control 3 Database and LRS, Los Angeles County’s database for CalWORKs participants.
Provide JQA assistance as needed.  
Other duties assigned.

Requirements: 
BA in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (preferred). Two years of professional child development experience.
Two years of direct experience working in an R&R or an Alternative Payment Program is preferred. Knowledge of and experience with Windows, and MS Office. Network experience preferred.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.Ability to work effectively with people from diverse economic and ethnic backgrounds.
Must have Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE INCLUDES:

Vacation & Sick Time
