This is a full-time contract position with Concordis. We are working with a client that is seeking a Senior Design Program Manager to join their team. Our client is a leader in the Tech Real-Estate Marketplace. They are the most visited real estate website in the United States, and they are reimagining real estate to make it easier to unlock life’s next chapter!
Job Description:
As a Senior Design Program Manager, you will drive forward the operating model for the product design team and act as a force-multiplier of the team’s efforts and impact. You are perfect for this role if you enjoy creating cohesion amongst the team, developing trust with partners, and driving systemic improvements at scale. Your focus on improving team communication, collaboration, and removing roadblocks for the team will mean that the product designers can focus their time on designing, building and shipping products.
This job gives you the chance to:
-Operationalize product quality by enabling others to work in the most efficient remote environment
-Ensure our researchers, product designers, and content designers are aligned on the scope and timing for our highest impact initiatives
-Improve flows of communication from working teams up to design leadership, and outward to partners
-Partner with leadership to set team goals, roadmaps, and plan team resources
-Report out on the top-level achievements and impact of our initiatives
-Define internal planning methodologies and approach guidelines; facilitate adoption across multiple cross-functional project teams and partners
-Own systems for project documentation, status tracking and reporting to ensure partners and team members are involved at the right times, understand project timelines, and follow through on their commitments
-Define and keep up to date documentation of how we work and how to work with us
Who you are:
-8+ years of program management experience or similar
-Experience with program management toolsets (i.e. Asana, Smartsheets, Jira, or similar)
-Have an understanding of user experience design, empathy for our customers, systems thinking, and organizational improvement
-Are an effective verbal, visual, and written communicator
-Have time management, organization, and prioritization skills
-Have a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
-Are experienced in anticipating and making trade-offs, balance the business need while building great customer experiences
