Position Summary:  The Resort General Manager is responsible for the operations and continued profitability of River Sands RV Resort and serve as the day-to-day point of contact for guests and residents.

  • Responds to guest inquiries as well as handle any complaints, inquiries and issues and ensures guests and residents receive the highest levels of customer service consistent with CRR's Values. 

  • Recommends and implements marketing initiatives to increase reservations and occupancy and promotes the Contemporary RV Resorts brand. 

  • Oversees team member selection, training, scheduling and development and ensures all team members comply with company policies and procedures. 

  • Conducts team member performance reviews and recommends compensation adjustments. 

  • Coordinates with the Activities department for planning and execution of activities and events for our guests. 

  • Prepares annual operating budget and manages based on the established property budget. 

  • Monitor monthly operating budgets and prepare monthly explanation of P&L variances. 

  • Analyze transient, monthly, and seasonal revenue and conduct comparisons at various intervals to identify market trends for the owner. 

  • Oversee capital expenditure improvements. 

  • Ensures compliance with federal state & local agencies that regulate fair housing laws & resort operations 

  • Establish and enforce resort rules and standards. 

  • Flexibility to respond to resort needs during non-business hours. 

  • General knowledge of property maintenance. 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university 

  • Five (5) years’ experience in the hospitality management industry, preferably in RV/mobile home property management 

  • Three (3) years’ previous supervisory experience 

 

Language Ability: 

​​Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.​ 

Mathematical Ability: 

​​Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.​ 

Reasoning Ability: 

​​Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.​ 

Computer Skills: 

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Pay Range
$50,000.00   Annually to $70,000.00   Annually
