Program Manager

Summary:

This position is local to the National Capital Region and provides management support to a Department of Defense customer. The Program Manager organizes and directs the support for enterprise real property system, ensures data integrity from source systems, oversees associated help desk tasks, training and awareness programs, and provides overall coordination with other DOD entities.

Performs tasks with significant latitude, reporting to the Vice President for direction on execution strategy and contract deliverables.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Arts or Science in business administration, management information systems or management degree from accredited four-year university; Master’s Degree is preferred but not required.

· Residence within a 100-mile radius of the National Capital Region

· Contract requires this position must be held by a US Citizen with active SECRET clearance

· 5 years federal real property or DOD business systems and/or GFEBS real property

· 10 years at installation Directorate of Public Works, or equivalent

· PMP certification

· Superior skills in written and oral communications, presentations, judgment, and facilitation required. Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, SQL, PowerPoint, Power BI and Outlook are required.

 

Job Responsibilities:

· This position requires drive, determination and demonstrated self-latitude and ability to lead efforts at a high level of output, quality, and professionalism.

· Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks.

· Manages a team of remote contract support personnel at multiple locations.

· Maintains and manages the client interface with senior government decision makers.

· Consults and meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations.

· Coordinates and builds a team with subcontractors for execution of software development tasks, system administration and information assurance requirements. Division of duties between company and subcontractor must be seamless to the customer.

· Directs the supervisor of a Tier III support desk to troubleshoot and resolve reported issues with the application reported via user.

· Establishes and implements Quality Control Plan for data integrity and report deliverables.

· Ensures contract deliverables are met by recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching and counseling employees; communicates job expectations, appraises and reviews compensation actions; enforces policies and procedures.

· Participates in support of company business development and proposal activities.

· Participates in other company projects/contracts as requested.
