The Finance Customer Liaison reports to the CFO and works closely with customers and various departments. Support Sales teams, and Services with customers' requests. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Liaise and respond to customer requests for information and documentation 

  • Support Sales Team with any finance related requests from customers 

  • Liaise with partners to Invoice and collect royalties 

  • Manage timely resolution customer requests with Zendesk 

  • Work closely with Sales and Contract team members 

  • Monitor and process software subscription and maintenance renewals 

  • Prepare and manage RFP/quotes 

  • Monitor Sales Opportunities in SalesForce and process Quotes and customer POs 

  • Obtain and process customer POs and interact with customer portals 

  • Prepare and submit customer invoices 

  • Collect timely on customer invoices 

  • Collect tax certificates from customers (exempt, direct payer, resale, etc) 

  • Accurately and timely charge and file Sales Tax using Avalara 

  • Post revenue to facilitate timely month-end closures 

  • Support Finance team members with revenue recognition reconciliations 

  • Backup support for project setup in financial administration 

  • Backup support for governmental customer document requests 

  • Backup support for annual DCAA cost submittal and reporting 

  • Support Finance Team with any audit requests 

  • Work with foreign accounting offices 

  • Report on status renewals, quotes, opportunities, revenue and otherwise 

  • Ad hoc analysis 

  • Strive for continuous process improvement 

  • Other tasks as directed by the CFO 

Requirements: 

  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to drive conversations 

  • Assertive and customer-focused attitude 

  • Must have active SalesForce experience, experience with Netsuite, Zendesk and Deltek are a plus 

  • Strong Excel experience required (pivots, look-ups, etc.) 

  • Solid organizational and planning skills, bright, with a strong work ethic 

  • Must be an excellent team player 

    Salary Min $65,000.00
    Salary Midpoint $70,000.00
    Salary Max $80,000.00
     

Required Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor's in accounting  

  • 2+ year relevant experience 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements: 

  • US Citizenship
