OVERVIEW
Mission Critical Partners is experiencing rapid growth and have an immediate need for a Client Services Director (CSD) for a self-motivated business development/growth/sales professional. We are looking for an experienced leader who has demonstrated success designing and executing strategic sales plans and developing opportunities from existing relationships. This role requires a growth-oriented professional committed to success by embracing and living our core values of Persistence, Integrity, Trust, Accountability and Prudence.

LOCATION:
Nationwide – Remote

EXPECTATIONS
  • Create comprehensive, time-sensitive business, and strategic development and growth plan that meets sales targets balancing client satisfaction and profitable engagement.
  • Discover and source business leads. Call on senior-level executives to forge new relationships.
  • Uncover our client’s needs and requirements – close new business, prepare and negotiate contracts, and review project specifications with the project team.
  • Build and maintain a sustainable sales backlog and aid development of annual sales plans for the company. Report on business development and growth activities weekly.
  • Participate in the procurement process including assisting clients with RFP, RFQ, RFI, ITB.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to identify new opportunities, interpret trends and promote efforts to meet current trends.  Ensure efficient and effective marketing, advertising, and promotional planning.  Coordinate activities at trade shows and conferences.
  • Ability to travel upto 70% of the time.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • 5+ years of business development experience in the public safety/emergency management industry or organizations with mission-critical systems
  • In-depth knowledge of emergency communications, public safety and/or emergency management.
  • Established relationships within commercial and government environments serving the public safety community.
  • Valid Driver’s License with the ability to drive to our client locations and MCP regional offices

PREFERRED
  • Membership and participation in affiliations, boards, or committees and organizations pertaining to Public Safety.
  • Background working with Public Safety Operations, Land Mobile Radio (LMR), Broadband and Wireless Communications for Public Safety, Next Generation 911 (NG-911), IP based technologies.
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision, Salesforce.com and/or other automated sales management tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local agency policies and regulatory activities related to 911.
