Job Summary

The senior accountant will be instrumental in driving the success of Behl Practice Services and its supported companies.  Performs general accounting tasks such as recognizing and recording monthly revenue and expense, maintaining inventories, bank reconciliations, journal entries, monthly close processes, financial reports generation, and will coordinate with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and provides other support as necessary.  The accountant will be responsible for daily AP/AR tasks, revenue and expense recognition, asset management, loan and lease accounting, and intercompany transfers, as well as commercial property management tasks.  Ability to multi-task and exhibit confidence operating in a fast-moving and growing company will be an asset.  

Responsibilities
 
  •  Ensures monthly revenue and expense is recognized according to GAAP 
  •  Manages all financial activities such as general accounting and cashflow
  • Supports timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliation, and accruals
  •  Generates monthly financial statements and daily cash flow reports
  • Reconciles bank activity against ledger and practice management systems
  • Verifies accuracy of general ledger accounts and reports, identifies, and corrects errors
  • Interface with external auditors and assist in research and preparation of necessary schedules to support the financials
  •  Creates budgets and forecasts
  •  Supports bank reporting and analysis
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
 
  • B.A. or B.S. in Accounting – CPA, MBA preferred
  • NetSuite experience preferred
  • Excellent communicator with staff and executives
  • Adaptable and able to prioritize tasks 
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Demonstrated full-cycle accounting and analytical skills
  • Eagerness to learn and advance skills
  • Able to multi-task and work independently and as a team
Pay Range
$65,000.00   Annually to $80,000.00   Annually
