RFT is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern whose day-to-day will involve maintaining and improving the digital presence of RFT. During the internship, you will be given the opportunity to work on active projects and make meaningful contributions to your experience and portfolio. You will collaborate with other team members and company leaders.
It is essential that the Digital Marketing Intern updates and streamlines the company website to engage followers and improve Lighthouse scores. The Digital Marketing Intern will also be responsible for troubleshooting website issues and assisting with maximizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO). As part of the RFT team, you will help foster and support RFT’s all-inclusive community.
Core Responsibilities of the Website Intern Include:- Work with management to achieve site goals and functionality
- Update the WordPress website to ensure greater functionality and user engagement
- Resolve website bugs or glitches quickly
- Configure website images for maximum impact through social media sharing
- Optimize images for web use
- Continually monitor site health (performance, page indexing, SEO)
- Manage Google’s new GA4 Analytics Dashboard and weekly reports
- Miscellaneous tasks as needed to help support our recruiting and business development efforts
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in website design, computer science, multimedia production, or related field
- Experience building sites in WordPress and modifying templates
- Experience with HTML, CSS3, PHP
- Adobe Photoshop and image optimization experience
- Ability to work diligently on your own to complete regular maintenance on the website
- Excellent communications, writing, and editing skills
- Positive attitude, self-starter and well-organized
- Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier, and Final Cut Pro is a plus
- Video production and editing experience
- E-commerce experience
