UNITY PROGRAMMER/DEVELOPER

SSE is a leading technology company serving St. Louis, MO and Jacksonville, FL for over 30 years. We are a leading provider of aviation courseware development, virtual training development, and training for military and commercial aircraft. We are seeking skilled Unity Programmers to join our team in St. Louis, MO.

Unity Programmers will work on applications that simulate aircraft systems, as part of development teams building our virtual maintenance simulations for military aircraft. Programmers build, enhance and optimize applications and programs for the on-going development of aircraft virtual training programs.   

PROGRAMMER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in software development and support of Unity applications
  • Participate in planning and implementing projects
  • Testing the software and assuring its quality
  • Implement the localization or globalization of the software to meet internal production needs
  • Assist in performance tuning, balancing, improvement, automation and usability

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (game development, computer science, computer engineering, game development/design)
  • Software Programmer / Developer skills required in classroom or professional environment
  • Experience with C++ preferred
  • Experience with C# preferred
  • Experience with  Unity or Unreal Required
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate at multiple levels and devoted team player 
  • Should be adaptive and willing to learn and incorporate new ideas and emerging technology
  • “This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.”  US Citizen required
